Ron Malan passed away Monday, November 25th, in Provo, Utah, with his family at his side.
He survived nearly three weeks after suffering a stroke in the Dominican Republic, during which time we have been touched by your demonstration of love and concern for our family. Using your donations and support from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we were able to bring Dad back to Utah to receive the care he needed. Unfortunately, the stroke proved too significant to overcome.
Because of the generosity of family, friends, and strangers, we were able to gather at his side to say goodbye–a gift for which “thank you” hardly seems sufficient. It was the most beautiful, sacred thing we have ever been a part of. He and his family are truly at peace.
